This patch was awarded to La Albiceleste for achieving the South American tournament in July 2021 as the side beat Brazil 1-0 in Rio thanks to Angel Di María who put the side ahead in the 22nd minute. This patch was first used in the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualification against Uruguay in November 2021 and has featured in all internationals since. This patch is applied to the center of the chest
