Notes - Pro-model V5 boots produced by New Balance as part of their limited-edition 'Lite Shift' pack during the 2018/19 season. The Lite Shift pack includes both the Tekela V2 and Furon V5 supporting outlandish Blue and Red sci-fi designs that are inspired by the speed of light (1079 billion KM p/h) - with only 1079 pairs of each released world-wide. This Furon V5 is crafted to speed and accuracy with a synthetic bonded mesh upper working alongside Fantom Fit frame technology to provide seamless ball control with added support. Five layers of Hidraskin membrane offer a greater contact when striking through the ball, assisted by a shortened lacing system that enhances the size of the strike-zone off the forefront. A re-designed stretchable tongue doubles up as a low-profile collar below the ankle for lockdown fit, while Ortholite foam insoles provide long-term cushioning, moisture management and breathability. The chassis is made from TPU with nylon for explosive off-the-mark movements and a multi-directional moulded stud configuration inspired by sprint spikes for grip on firm ground surfaces.
