Player - Pacey Spanish left-back AngeliƱo #12
Features
Notes - Very rare player shirt believed to have been issued to or worn by AngeliƱo during the 2019 Premier League Asia Trophy tournament. Wolves, West Ham and Newcastle were all invited to take part in the preseason tournament alongside the reigning Premier League Champions. This design was worn in the 4-1 thumping of West Ham in Nanjing, China. Mark Nobel gave the Hammers the lead but goals from David Silva, Lukas Nmecha and a Raheem Sterling brace ensured City progressed to the Final against Wolves. AngeliƱo started the match against West Ham before coming off for Oleksandr Zinchenko on 62 minutes as City went on to suffer a shootout loss to Wolves 3 days later in Shanghai wearing their third kit. The Spaniard had rejoined Man City in July from PSV after previously being on the books at the Etihad between 2014-18. The Sky Blues had activated a buy back clause in his contract and the left-back made 12 appearances in all competitions for the side this season before joining German outfit RB Leipzig on loan in January where he spent the remainder of the campaign.
