Glen was an unused sub in this one as John Toshack's men ran out 2-1 winners thanks to a late winner from Robert Earnshaw. Gareth Bale was subbed on in the 54th minute to become Wales' youngest-ever full international at 16 years and 315 days. Trinidad & Tobago would play in their first World Cup Finals a few weeks later, where they finished bottom of a tough group that included the likes of England and Sweden.
