Home shirt as worn during a solid season for the Rapids which saw them finish 3rd in the Western Conference and 6th overall in the MLS to make the Playoffs. Scotsman John Spencer was in superb form bagging 14 goals in the league as Tim Hankinson's side lost out to Kansas in the first round of the Playoffs. The Rapids underwent a re-brad this season ditching the green kits they had worn since 1996 for this blue and navy striped design as well as changing manufacturers from Kappa to Atletica. These home colours didn't stick around for long with the side changing again in 2007 to the Maroon kits they wear today.
